An intuitive and data-driven platform for Limejump’s energy customers.
Limejump offers their customers a wide variety of products to sell their self-produced electricity back to the National Grid. The task was to create an easy-to-use interaction platform to track energy performance and earnings, but also to educate users and provoke customer engagement.
Through detailed Customer Journey Mapping I was able to identify pitfalls along the onboarding process for new clients.

User Research and Personas helped to clearly define user benefits and pain points across all company departments.

As a first step in my design process I usually create flowcharts in Adobe Illustrator. These flowcharts are a great tool to visualise complex procedures or activities of different nature. This can be technical or notional processes, the handling of goods and commodities within a manufactory or the flow of data from an in-house scale to a global one. The example below represents the different stages that electricity producers need to comply with when they participate in a scheme know as Demand Response.
